Note: Utaemon V first portrayed Masaoka in Tokyo at the
Kabuki-za in April 1914.  He also reprised the role at the
Kabuki-za in April 1920.  Depending on when this print
was published, it is possible that this print depicts one of
these other performances.  Based on the other known\
print by Fujisawa in this series, it is also possible that
it depicts some performance outside of Tokyo.
