Note: This play was produced by the
Shunjû-za, a short-lived theater study group
started by Ichikawa Ennosuke II (市川猿之助)
in 1931 after Ennosuke II was expelled from
the Shôchiku.  It does not appear to have from
other theaters. In addition to playing at the
Ichimura-za, it also played at the Asakusa
Kinryûkan beginning on January 14, 1938, at
the Kado-za beginning February 15, 1938, at
the Takarazuka Kagekijô beginning on
March 10, 1931. at Shin-Tsukiji Gekidan
beginning on March 14, 1931, and perhaps
other venues.  While it is likely that these prints
reflect the initial Ichiura-za production, I cannot
rule out that they reflect the Asakusa Kinryûkan
