Note:  This is the first edition printing of this design (edition of 100),
possibly faded.  Gado IV performed this role at the Shinbashi Enbujô
in Tokyo in June 1924, and likely performed it in Kyoto around that
time.  It is also possible that the play was called Shin Asagao Nikki
(新朝顔日記), a new version of  Shôutsushi Asagao Nikki that was
