Note: Kichiemon I also played this role in a production of
Toki-ha Ima Amagashita Shiru Satsuki Kana (時今天下知皐哉)
at the Ichimura-za in July 1917.  In fact, this print strongly
resembles a production photograph from that production. 
Consequently, it is possible that Shunsen modeled this
print on that earlier performance.
