Note: The actor portraying Akushichibyôe Kagekiyo (悪七兵衛景情) as
painted by Kunisada is Ichikawa Danjûrô V (市川団十郎; 市川團十郎).
The other figure is Kôkei's own modern day depiction of Ichikawa
Danjûrô XII (市川団十郎; 市川團十郎) as Kagekiyo.  Danjûrô XII portrayed
Akushichibyôe Kagekiyo in a production of Gedatsu (解脱) at the
Kokuritsu Gekijô, Tokyo, in January 1992.   He also portrayed the
character in the play Kagekiyo (景情) at the same theater in January 1994.
