Note: Given the difficulty of photographing my particular copy of
this large print, I have opted instead to use the image of another
copy from the Binnie Catalogue website.  The model for this
print was the Japanese actor Kawasetsu Yu (川節**).

Note:  The previous design was also issued with the figure
wearing a fundoshi (traditional underwear) applied in chine
collé.   As this is the only difference between the two
versions, the fundoshi was separately acquired for inclusion
in the Karl collection (but not permanently affixed to the prior
