Note: This is a strange print, as there
was no production of Sendai Hagi at
the Kabuki-za in or around May 1902.
While the actors' names cannot be
clearly read, what can be read
suggests that it might reflect the cast
of a production at the Kabuki-za in
April 1908. An on-line dealer has a
copy which purports to be dated
1912. Could there be multiple
printings of this set over the years,
and Tsuouchi Memorial Theatre
Museum's copy contain the first
page from one set and the last page
(with the printing information) from
another set? Was there a revised
version of Sendai Hagi mounted at
the Kabuki-za in 1902 under a
different name?
