Note: It is not clear if Makino designed the cover for the
souvenir program, which was also used for the play's poster.
It is, however, known that Makino advised the cast about
Japanese movement, makeup, costume, and manners. The
scenes from the play are printed on paper with an embossed
textured pattern that one usually associates with crepe paper
books
.
