Note: This is a mitate print. Enjaku II never
played this role in Tokyo during the time that
Kunisada III produced this print series,
although he did perform this role at the
Hongô-za in February 1916 and again at the
Meiji-za in March 1933. The series number
would suggest that the print was released in
the spring of 1918.
