Note: This lithograph is a reissue of the 1954 Ota woodblock print of the
same actor (under his prior name of Ichikawa Ebizô IX) in the same role
at the Kabuki-za in March 1953. It appears designed to commemorate his
two month shûmei at the Kabuki-za in 1962. He reprised the role at
the Kabuki-za in October 1964.
