      Note: The following actors are mentioned in the poems on the
      surimono:  Shirai Matsujirō (白井松次郎); Ōtani Takejirō (大谷竹次郎);
      Nakamura
      Ganjirō I  (中村鴈治郎); Kataoka Nizaemon XI (岡仁左衛門); Kataoka Gadō
      IV (片岡我童); and Arashi Kichisaburō VII (嵐吉三郎).  However,
      seeing
      as Kataoka Tônosuke (片岡當之助; 片岡当之助) took the name Arashi
      Kichisaburō VII at the Naka-za in Osaka in February 1928, he is
      the most
      likely candidate.  Moreover, one of the poems expressly
      references Tônosuke inheriting the Arashi family name.
