Note: Although Harada Kai is a character in several kabuki plays, the
only performance by Kichiemon I that I can locate is in Denbun Date
Daihyôjô (伝聞伊達大評定) at the Ichimura-za in Tokyo in September
1917.  It is likely that this print reflects Kichiemon's performance in
some regional production of Jitsuroku Sendai Hagi (実録先代萩) or
Harada Kai (原田甲斐).
