TANAKA SHIKÔ (田中紫光)

Undated Pochibukuro Set #3

Pochibukuro folder

Print Date: ?
Medium: Woodblock printed
pochibukuro folder [Undated
Pochibukuro Set #3]
Series: [Portrait of **] ** no
Omokage (**の面影) Part 1
Personal Collection

Note: While none of these
pochibukuro are signed, the
first print of Fukusuke has
been stylistically confirmed as
the work of Tanaka Shikô based
on related Shikô prints (or a
knock-off of such prints).
Presumably, the other three
pochibukuro are also by Shikô.
However, Part 2 of this series
contains four prints by Kamishita
Shuhô(神下周峯) or knock-offs
of Shuhô prints, so it is clear
that more than one artist
designed prints in this series.
