copies were printed with sumi ink.  The picture in the background is based
on Kokei's1989 woodblock print of Ichikawa Monnosuke VII (市川門之助) as
Shinzô Shiratama (新造白玉) in Kurotegumi Kuruwa no Tatehiki
(黒手組曲輪達引), which was performed at the Kabuki-za in Tokyo in July 1989.
