from fighting in the Russo-Japanese War.  Two
other plays on the same bill at the Kabuki-za
were "Okuno Kiroku" (陸奥記録) and "Gunjin
Katagi,", two victory-commemorating war
dramas directed by Jûzô IV's adopted father
